One Fitness
ONE Fitness and Wellness Instructors; Noelle Stevens, JoAnn Dawes, Sarah Cawrse, Hayley Leclaire & Dr. Tomlinson Rauscher know firsthand that putting YOU first can be challenging.

Location:  6 Collins Drive, Queensbury 

ONE is here to help you in your fitness and wellness journey, so you receive the support and guidance you need to live a healthier life.
Take advantage of ONE’s classes, with modifications for most fitness levels. These options meet the recommendations of the American Heart Association for improved heart 
health and they make it easier to squeeze exercise into your day.


One Fitness

COVID19 REQUIREMENTS
Currently, ONE requires masks when people enter and leave the building.
If a participant wants the option of removing a mask for the class, ONE Fitness and Wellness needs documentation of immunization. They are welcome to share that with ONE at their first visit, or email ahead of time.
The documentation is not required -- but if there is no documentation, the participant will wear their mask before, during and after class (with water breaks permitted).

INDOOR CYCLING (STAGES)
STAGES INDOOR CYCLING This popular class is back!

ONE Fitness and Wellness brings you STAGES Indoor Cycling Classes -- 45 minutes of indoor cycling training, where you control the intensity of your work-out. Enjoy great music in a fun environment with certified group fitness instructors who will guide you through hill climbs, sprints and flat roads on quality, easy-to-adjust STAGES bikes, each with its own power meter. You will leave class feeling energized and smiling.

Train indoors at ONE, up to 3 times per week and watch your fitness improve!

Please bring: water bottle, towel, clean indoor sneakers or indoor cycling shoes with spd clips.

Certified Instructors: JoAnn Dawes and Noelle Stevens

TIME: Choose from these morning and/or evening classes:
• Mondays: 6:00-6:50 pm
• Thursdays: 5:30-6:20 am
• Saturdays: 7:30-8:20 am

Les Mills BODYPUMP™ at ONE!
Les Mills BODYPUMP™ is ideal for anyone looking to improve strength, build lean muscle and improve overall fitness. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. No experience needed!

BODYPUMP™ classes are 50 minutes in duration.

*Mondays & Thursdays (5:00-5:50pm)

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS FOR ACTIVE ADULTS
FUNctional Fitness for Active Adults is designed to enhance quality of life through functional strengthening exercises, in an environment that prioritizes safety for you and our community. You will see and feel the improvement in Balance & Stability, Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance, Strength, and Flexibility & Coordination.

And it’s FUN!
• FUNdamental - the exercises provide the basic foundation for virtually all activities you experience
• and enjoy
• FUNctional - the movements improve your ability to perform actions of daily life, e.g., sitting
• down and standing up, picking up objects off the floor, and climbing stairs
• FUN - the classes encourage participation, interaction, and constant improvement through working
• with your peers!

*Tuesdays & Fridays (9:30 - 10:30 am)

Certified Instructor: Dr. Tomlinson Rauscher is a senior athlete with decades of experience in exercise science, teaching, and competition. Tom combines his experience in the fitness industry with personal life lessons to bring you top-notch training.

What to Expect in Class?

Warm Up: exercises emphasizing balance and stability (15 minutes).
Instruction (10 minutes): introducing new exercise or reviewing previous exercises
• Tom will illustrate proper technique and describe the functional importance of the exercises.
Workout of the Day (25 minutes): A series of exercises performed at an intensity that presents some challenge (to foster improvement without exhaustion or inappropriate workloads).
• Tom will help you perform the movements with proper form, so you can maximize the benefits while protecting yourself from injury or unnecessary soreness.
• Sequence of exercises might include:
• Do as many repetitions as possible in a fixed time period or
• Do a fixed number of repetitions as fast as possible.

Cool Down: exercises, stretch, summarize accomplishments (10 minutes)

Please bring: water bottle, mat, and clean indoor sneakers.
