Boy shooting basketball
Join Queensbury Boys Varsity Basketball Coach, and Spartan Hoopers Director, Mike Purtell for a week-long basketball clinic which will focus on shooting, ball handling, passing and defensive skill development. Half- and full-court games will be played. There will be skills competitions, as well as rewards and prizes at the end of each day to recognize hard work and sportsmanship.

Program Supervisor:  Mike Purtell, Queensbury High School Varsity Basketball Coach

Coach Purtell has had a life-long love of basketball, playing throughout grade school and for Oneonta State. He is currently a High School and youth coach, and a third grade teacher at QES. Coach Purtell has been an  elementary educator for over 20 years and has been running his own successful basketball clinics in Florida for the past decade.
