Youth Girl's Field Hockey Camp - Fall 2022
This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.
This program will cover various levels of instruction; from how to hold a stick, proper use of equipment, and how to dribble and pass. Drills will help build skills that can be used in our scrimmages and fun competition style games. Participants can expect to learn new skills, and gain more knowledge on those they already have.
Program Supervisors: Lauren DeLor, Maddie Nelson
Lauren DeLor has played field hockey since she can remember. Throughout grade school, she played for Queensbury, and continued to play for a Division 1 program at Siena College. She loves sharing her passion for field hockey, and being involved with growing the sport in her community!
Maddie Nelson started playing field hockey when it was first introduced in 4th grade gym. She has participated in many Queensbury Parks & Recreation programs throughout the years, and played varsity for 4 years at Queensbury High School. She then went on to play at SUNY Oswego.
She has stayed involved with Queensbury field hockey all the while and is excited to be helping the next generation love the sport as much as she does!
