Clare Rainwater
Clare Elizabeth is a retired elementary teacher of 34 years, a mama of five and grandma of two sweet littles. Her yoga journey began while she was suffering from adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). Countless physical therapy appointments, steroid shots and acupuncture left her with little relief. The debilitating pain led her into a depression. A yoga class on Instagram caught her attention. Clearly she couldn’t move her body into the poses, but she began with the breath. Through breath and stillness her path to true self care and true self love began. Yoga taught her acceptance of what is, in the here and now; she learned to accept the limitations of her body with compassion. With continued practice over time, she began to feel a shift in her mind and body. Healing was taking place and she was hooked.
Clare Elizabeth received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training from Crystal Gray Academy and then went on to receive Certification from Kidding Around Yoga in order to teach children the beauty of yoga. She is currently taking classes through the Breathing Deeply Wellness Center, studying to become a Yoga Therapist.
