These art classes are not only amazing, but allow children to express themselves creatively and learn about different forms of art. Join us to bring out the artist in your child and let’s have some creative fun! The Department is excited to have Queensbury Elementary School Art Teacher, Jennifer Spath, joining us this summer to lead these great programs!
For students entering Grades 1-4 for the 2026-2027 School Year.
Little Critter Watering Station
- Use polymer clay, paint and some silly little fun to a colorful ceramic watering station for your yard or garden. You'll decide on your little animal- real or imagined- craft and add them to your dish.
- So cool they're just begging for some little garden friends to come join for a sip.
- Pack a snack/drink for a little mid-crafting break while we bake our creations. Dress for mess. All supplies included.
- For students entering grades 1-4.
Gelli Print Flower Frames
- Bring a little bit of unexpected fun and color to a frame with some one-of-a-kind gelli prints.
- Learn techniques for fun printing- explore and experiment to get all kinds of cool effects.
- Pack a snack/drink for a little mid-crafting break while our prints dry. Dress for mess. All supplies included.
- For students entering grades 1-4.
Bouncy Birds and Butterflies
- Use clay and some fancy metal tooling to create a little spring-loaded butterfly or bird sculpture.
- Add all the little details and decoration to make it your own!
- Pack a snack/drink for a little mid-crafting break while we bake our creations. All supplies included.

Crystal Color Suncatcher
- Learn some new techniques and explore fun and fancy materials to create a colorful rainbow of a decoration to catch the sun.
- Stained glass effects and beads will make your creation sparkle.
- Pack a snack/drink for a break and dress for mess. All supplies included.
