Hovey Pond - Gardens - Weddings - Maine Pavilion

Hovey Pond can be used to host wedding ceremonies during day light hours; there are many locations within the park that are appropriate for weddings – the public gardens, Maine Pavilion, dock, and wetland walkways. Prior approval is only necessary if you wish to reserve the Maine Pavilion. If you choose to hold your ceremony at Hovey Pond, please remember that the park remains open for public use at all times during day light hours and use of the pavilion is available first-come first-served, unless it is reserved for the occasion. 

The rental fee for the Maine Pavilion at Hovey Pond is $200 for Queensbury residents and $250 for non-residents. This fee reserves the pavilion for your party's exclusive use during the desired 2 hour block of time.

• Parking is limited and cannot be reserved – 25 parking spots exist for the park
• There is an electrical outlet available nearby to the pavilion
• No portion of the park can be closed off from public use – except for the pavilion when it has been properly reserved & paid
• All decorations must be completely removed once your ceremony is completed
• Tents or other ground anchored, temporary structures are NOT allowed (small pop ups can be used)
• Consumption of alcohol is NOT allowed
• Maine Pavilion has two, six-foot picnic tables that can be easily moved for access - as long as they are replaced when finished
• The pavilion is 12’ x 16’ in size
