Stacey Koloski is a UPK teacher at Queensbury Elementary School with 23 years of K-3 teaching experience.  She has designed these activities to give pre-school children an opportunity to develop their cooperative learning and social skills through play and fun.These are drop off programs held at the Hansen Center at 118 Gurney Lane Road. All children need to be independent with toileting in order to attend.

12:00 PM - 4:30 PM    Babysitter Safety Course With First Aid - Ages 12-15 - Babysitter Safety Course with First Aid
This class is designed to offer safety techniques and information to those who may be interested in babysitting. Participants will learn an assortment of safety techniques from various community agencies, including personnel from local Police, Fire, and EMS departments; participants will also receive instruction in basic first aid. The program is facilitated by the Queensbury Fire Marshal’s Office and the Parks & Recreation Department.

Miss Jenna is back and will offer summer sessions of Creative Art and Play for Tots! Families have loved her summer programs, especially the kiddos! Your toddler wants a fun and creative outlet! Join your child in an organized  environment that is designed to allow for learning, play, and artistic expression. Learning games will be incorporated with a story time and related art activity. Each class is designed to help develop your child’s fine motor skills, appropriate for their age level. Parents will learn age-appropriate art activities to help encourage their child’s artistic expression.  It is a great opportunity for socialization, too! Please join us!Instructor: Jenna Capezzuti is a NYS Certified teacher and has been  teaching for over 18 years. She is the mother of three boys: a 12 year-old and twin seven year-olds. She understands the different developmental needs for various age groups. She has designed the classes to promote the idea that learning can be fun and creative!
